Introduction

PECO is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Organization based locally at Varanasi India, just a kilometer distance from Diesel Locomotive Works, (production unit of EMD 710 Locomotives in India). Our group of Company is associated with Indian Railways for the last 30 years in various fields of Diesel Locomotive Spare Parts for Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi and Zonal Railways particulary the Traction Motor Blowers and Turbo Charger Spares for ALCO MG, BG and for EMD 710 make Locomotives.

Who we Are?

In the leadership of Mr. S. Kumar, B Tech from IIT Kanpur, PECO started business with DLW, Varanasi. Since 1980 with a development of Traction Motor Blower for BG/MG locomotive and successfully developed the items. Thereafter about 50 items were developed by PECO, our company’s items are of critical in nature and are used in manufacturing/maintenance of Diesel Locomotives into Indian Railways.

After development of 50 items which were on the list of indigenous items, PECO has taken a challenge of Indiginization of Imported Dodge Type Pillow Block in 1992. From the year 1992 to 2003 DLW, Varanasi has placed bulk order to us. Since then we have developed Blowers for ALCo and EMD and Dowelling for EMD Locomotives.

In the year 2013 PECO has got the order for setting up the factory for the Indizinise production of Turbo Dowelling for EMD 710 Locomotives and the factory is set up within a period of 9 months. At present we have in house CNC VMC, CMM, Radial Drill, Washer and Dowelling Fixture. The factory is set up in 30000 sq. feet area exclusively for Traction Motor Blowers and EMD Turbo Dowelling with the shed and administrative building of 4000 sq. feet each. We have the capacity of doing the Turbo Dowelling of 10 nos. per month.

Company has 3 Units :

  • Unit-I for manufacture of Pillow Blocks.
  • Unit-II for Traction Motor Blowers and EMD Turbo Dowelling
  • Unit-III for future expansion

Work Experties

    • We do manufacture the Traction Motor Blower for EMD 710 Locomotives.
    • We are doing the Turbo Dowelling of EMD 710 Locomotives

  • ALCo Locomotives

    • We do manufacture and supply the complete Traction Motor Blowers and its spares for ALCo BG and MG Locomotives.
    • We do manufacture and supply the critical items/spares of ALCO MG Turbo Charger like Gas Inlet Casing Water Cooled, Turbo Shaft, Gaskets etc. to DLW and to other Zonal Railways as well
